Inserting Default Data
It is necessary to insert default data when you set up a new company.
Insert Default Data is run from the
This process inserts for example:
- POS commands which belong to the LS Nav Base system
- Data into Retail Setup
- Basic number series.
In previous versions, up to version LS Nav 2013, the Insert Default Data function inserted some more data such as the POS Profiles. The POS Profiles and some other POS Setup data can now be exported and imported with the tool Import Export Worksheet, and are therefore not a part of Insert Default Data.
If you are using Hospitality, you need to insert Hospitality Commands and include Meal Planning and/or Delivery & Takeout as needed. This will insert basic data necessary for Hospitality functionality and features.
